Holos Architecture + Design is pleased to welcome Marti McConnell as Business Development Specialist – San Juan Islands.
“To further our efforts in integrating deeply with the San Juan Islands, we wanted to bring on a local who has deep roots in the community and a genuine interest in sustainable architecture,” said Akshay Gill, Head of Business at Holos Architecture + Design. “Marti will actively support our current project workload by facilitating faster local logistics and permitting processes, while also laying the groundwork for upcoming projects by cultivating key local relationships that align with our commitment to sustainable and community-focused design.”
Marti earned her degree in Architecture from the University of Washington and began her career working on residential and small commercial projects in Seattle and Yakima. Her passion for design extended into education, where she spent nearly a decade teaching design and drafting to middle and high school students.
Since relocating to Friday Harbor in 2017, Marti has applied her expertise in AutoCAD across diverse industries, including cabinetry design and land surveying. She has also led the coordination of trades courses for both youth and adults, blending hands-on skill development with community engagement.
Marti brings a unique combination of industry experience, local insight, and entrepreneurial drive to Holos.
